Commission our third party to undertake a Desktop Appraisal of the existing domestic roof structure from the dimensions provided in the area of the proposed installation of Solar PV Panels.
In order to assess the suitability of existing structural members to sustain increased loading from the Solar PV array. Our conclusions will be based on the information provided and no site visit will be undertaken.
If the roof structure is not suitable the conclusions will briefly discuss a solution with regard to the most suitable method of strengthening, but no strengthening calculations will be undertaken.
If strengthening design is required a second job will need to be ignited once instructed, our fee for the strengthening calculations will be based on £65.00 per hour Excl VAT, we will advise in the Desktop Appraisal of the cost for the strengthening design.
Our pricing for each service is detailed below, credit is pre-paid and is non-refundable*.
Our Domestic Desktop Appraisals start from £140.00 + VAT for an average domestic house,
ie,1-4 Bedroom house, with a turnaround of 3-5 working days to complete the report.
*Customers are reminded in the event of terminating your subscription your must use all pre-paid credit before the cancellation of your services.
Desktop Appraisal Services are provided by BMG Surveys and PaperClip accepts no liability to for the use of the service or the results provided.
When purchasing less than 5x Survey Credits a £5 administration charge will apply.
